WAIVER AND RELEASE FROM LIABILITY FOR ADULTS ---

Please read and acknowledge in the appropriate space on the membership form.

With respect to rides sponsored or supported by the Sussex Cyclists, Inc., I freely accept and voluntarily assume the risks of personal injury or property damage that may result from this potentially hazardous activity. I further agree to waive and release from all claims and liabilities of any kind arising out of my participation and agree to hold harmless the Sussex Cyclists, Inc., corporate sponsors, cooperating organizations and all parties connected with any event from any liability as a result of my participation. I will permit emergency treatment in the event of injury or illness while participating in a ride or event. I do agree and accept full responsibility to obey traffic and rules of safety for any ride or event, and understand that Sussex Cyclists or their designee has the right to dismiss anyone that may cause disturbance or disregard the rules with respect to safety during any ride or event. I also understand that it is my responsibility to ensure proper training has occurred. I agree to accept any and all responsibility for disregarding these rules.
