Route Marking for Rotary Ride
Note: Rotary Ride is Nov. 6, route marking needs to be done the day before, on Nov. 5
We supported this worthy charity event in its 2020 inaugural year, and are back to lend support for 2021. This is a great ride, and riders have a chance to support the Rehoboth Sunrise Rotary and their many worthwhile programs.
At this time we need volunteers to place Route Arrows to mark the route. This will be done the day before the ride.
The suggested plan is this:
Marking volunteers meet at 10:00 AM at the rear parking area of the Dogfish Parking Lot in Milton.
Marking teams will be formed. You may also form a team of two or three before the 10:00 meeting.
Note: We suggest teams of three. 1. Driver, 2. The Route arrow placer 3. Safety Monitor.
Marking assignments will be determined and Route Arrows distributed at the 10:00 meeting. Teams will then begin marking the assigned portion of the route.
Tentatively the route has been divided onto 5 sections. If we have less than 5 teams, then a team or teams may volunteer to mark more than one section.
You may use the registration link more than once to register others for the activity.
After marking the routes, teams may choose to de-brief over some Dogfish brews.
