Georgetown Lewes Trail Closed for Maintenance

TRAFFIC ALERT - Lewes to Georgetown Trail Maintenance Project Will Require Temporary Closures of Trail  


Lewes -- The Delaware Department of Transportation announces that temporary closures are required to perform routine trail maintenance on the Lewes to Georgetown trail. This maintenance will include the following: removal of any hazardous trees adjacent to the trail and any deadwood located directly above the trail.

Times and Dates of Closure:

8 a.m. until 5 p.m. on Wednesday, April 28, 2021 AND Thursday, April 29, 2021, pending weather.

Rain date: Monday, May 3, 2021 from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m.

Location: Lewes to Georgetown Trail from Nassau Road to Savannah Road, Lewes.
