THE BEACHES, BAYS, & BEYOND!

The Annual Ocean to Bay Bike Tour is back again in 2021 for its 32nd year! Join cyclists of all levels on April 23 & 24, 2021 in the Quiet Resorts for a cycling tour through Sussex County’s beautiful beaches, bays, and beyond! This award-winning event, presented by the Bethany-Fenwick Area Chamber of Commerce, offers cyclists a 30 mile, 50 mile, metric century, and century ride on flat terrain.

EVENT INFORMATION

EVENT CHECK IN & PACKET PICK-UP & EVENT SUPPORT

Saturday ride only packet pick-up is located at the Bethany-Fenwick Area Chamber of Commerce (36913 Coastal Hwy. Fenwick Island, DE 19944)
Friday Coastal Cruise and Saturday combo ride packet pick-up is located at Summer Salts Grill (33548 Market Pl. Bethany Beach, DE 19930)
All registered cyclists must check-in to pick up bibs, event shirts & rest stop bags at their respective start points for their route
All cyclists must present a photo ID and signed waiver at packet pick-up
All cyclists must be wearing their bib numbers and face masks to have access to event support (e.g. sag wagon, rest stops, emergency services, etc.).

START TIMES (are tentative and subject to update by the sponsor)

Due to the number of cyclists on the road on the event day, all cyclists must follow the start schedule to ensure the safety of everyone. Bib numbers must be visible for entry at all rest stops.

Century Route: 7:00-8:00 am (four different time slots)
Metric Century Routes: 8:00-9:00 am
50 Mile Route: 9:00-10:00 am
36 Mile Route: 10:00-11:00 am

IMPORTANT NOTES:

No refunds will be given for canceled registrations.
The ride will take place rain or shine; however, if extreme weather is forecasted, the Bike Tour may be canceled. In the case of event cancellation, no refunds will be given.
Due to the uncertainty surrounding COVID-19 requirements and recommendations, the Bethany-Fenwick Area Chamber of Commerce reserves the right to limit the number of participants and to close registration early to ensure a safe event!
NOTE: No refunds will be given for canceled registrations. The 2021 event is expected to sell out; on-site registration may be available for the Friday Coastal Cruise but is not guaranteed. No on-site registration will be available for the Saturday ride.
