Distance: 20 Miles on paved, crushed stone and/or manufactured wood boardwalk; OPTIONAL (after returning to the Lewes Library parking lot) additional 11 miles on paved trail.
Speed: Average 12 mph trails

Additional Info: Route varies and may use the trails in Cape Henlopen State Park, including the Gordon's Pond and Junction and Breakwater Trails. Parts of these trails are crushed stone and/or manufactured wood boardwalk. Ideal terrain for a hybrid, trail or gravel bike with tires 28mm or wider. Be prepared to use extra caution on some surfaces if using a road bike. The ride may also use the paved Lewes-Georgetown trail and/or roads in Sussex County. Effort is made by the Ride Leader(s) to select routes with minimum automobile traffic.
RSVP: Limited to a total of 10 riders max. YOU MUST MAKE YOUR NAME “PUBLIC” SO OTHER REGISTRANTS KNOW WITH WHOM THEY ARE RIDING (IF YOU REGISTER “ANONYMOUSLY” THE RIDE LEADER MAY MAKE YOUR NAME PUBLIC OR CANCEL YOUR REGISTRATION AT THEIR DISCRETION. If registration is closed, sign up for the waiting list in case there are cancellations and you will be notified if there is an available slot. YOU CAN NOT RIDE WITHOUT REGISTERING IN ADVANCE OF THE RIDE - NO EXCEPTIONS. APPROVAL TO PARTICIPATE IN A CLUB RIDE IS ALWAYS AT THE RIDE LEADER'S DISCRETION - IF YOU ARE ASKED NOT TO PARTICIPATE OR TO LEAVE THE RIDE, PLEASE COMPLY. Ride Cancellation/Changes: If there are any changes to this ride, such as an updated RWGPS link, changed start time, cancellation due to weather, road conditions or unavailability of the Ride Leader, you will be sent an e-mail no later than 1 hour before the ride start time. Please check for email updates on the morning of ride.
COVID-19 and CRASHES: Both are real and possible dangers of cycling in today’s world. If you decide to ride with us you do so at your own risk. Please bring a face covering and where it when appropriate in compliance with State of Delaware Social Distancing Requirements.
