Club Group Rides (Click Here For Calendar of Rides)
Visitors, as well as members, are welcome to participate in most of our group rides.
(We require on-line registration, properly worn helmets and a safe riding attitude.)
During the Spring and Summer ride season weekly and biweekly rides are posted on the Club Rides and Activities page (Calendar) of this website and linked to details specific to that ride. Short advance notice (ad hoc) rides, and changes to or cancellations of Club Group Rides may also be posted. Registration confirmations, reminders, cancelations and updates are sent via email to those who are officially registered for a ride.
When temperatures during the ride are forecasted to exceed 85 degrees, it is recommended that you arrive well hydrated and carry two bottles of liquid (at least one with sport drink containing electrolytes). Please remember to hydrate frequently during the ride.
During the "off-season" (late Fall through early Spring) Ride Leaders may occasionally post ad hoc rides.
Riders, members as well as guests, must register for a ride using our online registration process. Clicking on the Calendar Ride Listing will take you to the registration process.
Each rider is responsible for his/her own safety and the safety of the group. If unsafe behavior is demonstrated the ride leader will address the situation. Helmets are mandatory on all Sussex Cyclists rides. All riders must pre-register on line and complete the emergency contact information, agree to the Club Liability Waiver Agreement and agree to abide by the Sussex Cyclists Group Riding Requirements.
Any SPECIFIC QUESTIONS about a ride should be directed to the Ride Leader(s) listed at the bottom of the Ride Description.
Any GENERAL QUESTIONS about Sussex Cyclists Group Riding should be directed to the club's Ride Director.
